Dandy-pot

Our garden is a tiny courtyard patio. Dandelions like growing in the gaps in the paving, and the bees love their nectar. But they crowd out my lovely mosses, mints and alpines, so I end up weeding them out.

Last year, I experimented with leaving everything to grow wild. That led to some unexpected beauty, but not everything appreciated having to fight for space. This year, I’m experimenting with pots of self-seeding wildflowers I am calling dandy-pots cos the dandelions love them. And the bees will too :)
