Panoramic Disc ......

This is the new Panoramic Disc at the war memorial on Barr Beacon, Walsall.
This disc is a replacement for the original Toposcope, which was made from bronze, and not surprisingly was stolen by some toerag long ago.
I remember often visiting the Toposcope as a kid, and spending hours picking out landmarks on the horizon.
Although the new disc lacks the class of the original bronze one it is very informative - Well done, Walsall Countryside Services ! !
