Singapore Day 3

Second day of the conference and S had her presentation. After the closing ceremony, we headed out to explore Little India, which looked so much like our part of the world mainly due to the fact that so many Indians and Pakistani's were roaming there. After an hour of walking, we were exhausted. Just when we were about to give up and find a taxi, we accidentally found BBQ tonight. BBQ tonight is a Pakistani restaurant with one branch in Singapore too. We were delighted and we went inside and ordered Pakistani food. I have to say, there is absolutely no match for Pakistani food ... Coincidentally, we also got to meet a friend of my brother and his wife, who lives and works in Singapore. After dinner, we went to a very famous store called Mustafa Center. Its huge and you can find everything under one roof. We shopped, but when we came out, it was raining like cats and dogs. With a bit of assistance, we phoned to call a taxi and went back to the hotel.
