Series Munich's beer gardens: #2 Hirschgarten

It's finally time for the second entry in my beer garden series. We had really crappy weather in Munich the last three weeks, so there was no point in blipping some deserted space. Today was the second warmish day in a row and a few people already dared to get out to have some cold ones in the sun.

Today's beer garden is Hirschgarten. With 8,000 seats it is supposed to be Munich's (and the world's) largest venue of that kind. Directly adjacent is the deer park, which gives the place its name (Hirschgarten means deer park). So the blip shows the half-empty Hirschgarten beer garden and its central maypole in traditional blue and white colours with the flying Bavarian banner. This beer garden serves more than one brand of beer: Augustiner, Tegernseer Spezial, and König Ludwig Dunkel.
