Nature Diary 'Honesty'

A beautiful day again, with a very calm wind, blue sky, and a rise in temperature.
Today in the garden the early morning sun highlighted the bright petals of an Honesty plant which had self-seeded in one of our hedges. A beautiful sight.
In the extras is our splendid Eucalyptus tree which has been with us for many, many years and which has to be pruned regularly as it's inclined to reach for the sky. The tree surgeons will be arriving at the start of May to prune it and to prepare the hedges, the Budleia and the Laurel for their Spring growth spurt.
