Another wet start to the day. The forecasts indicated it could improve by lunchtime. It didn’t. During the morning I put a load of washing on then washed the kitchen floor. Watched a few youtube videos while the washer was working and floor was drying.

Then a chicken sandwich.

By this time it was looking brighter. I changed into my gardening clothes but when I went out for the tools there was still some light drizzle.

Another change of clothes and I walked to the garden centre taking some potential blips on the way.

It was 4pm when the first bit of sunshine appeared for a few minutes and at 5 o’clock I spotted some blue sky.

Fingers crossed for a dry morning tomorrow. Three forecasts agree.
