Grass Snake

I heard a splash (really!) and then I noticed his snake moving quickly across the water of the little pond. I think it's a grass snake. It was rather big and it was the first time I've seen one swimming. Only one photo for me and it was gone again.

Out cycling, but not very far and not very long. Rather exhausted today and glad the snake swam by for today's blip.
