Getting Jaggy With It

It was that time of year for Arlo to get his vaccinations. Although he is fine going into the vets and meeting everyone, previous experiences he's had have made him very protective of himself. Despite trying approaches to make it better, it's been a bit of a downward spiral and each visit made him more anxious on his next visit, so we decided to try some medication. 

So although he was dozy this time, when the stethoscope came out, he was, "right, I know what's coming", so we cut to the chase. I wouldn't say it was smooth, but it was quick and much better than previous times. So I guess we are going to have to get a stethoscope then and create some good experiences, and hopefully start going in an upward spiral.

To make up for it all, we gave him a big walk later in the afternoon when he was back to normal, this is him chilling in the wild garlic.
