Double cherry blossoms from my garden.

This year, for the first time in a long time, I brought out Taisyouninngyou (general dolls) for Children's Day on May 5th. Musha ningyo or Japanese warrior dolls, which we call Gogatsu-Ningyo.
We celebrate Tango-no-sekku, a Boys’ Festival (Kid's festival on the 5th May) in Japan and display Gogatsu-ningyo, a warrior doll, or a Japanese armor and helmet, wishing for the boys to grow strong and wise.
