Esme was Silly

Esme and I walked to the Division St New Seasons to buy bandaids. She snipped her finger with scissors and wouldn't settle for any fix (tissue & tape) but a bandaid. Along the way we stopped to check out this series of inspirational posters. She liked the Robin Williams one the best; I think because she knew the word 'silly.' She was rather silly herself, today, and I liked seeing her content and playful in her life of upheaval: new 'steps' - mom and her three kids, plus a nice cat.
