Fritillaria pyrenaica

It was probably going to be the standby Robin blip today. They were hovering within inches of me as I potted up some plants. They hoovered up the worms as I spread the compost on the bench and perched on the pots, ready for the next lot of worms. It was only as I passed the Alpine bed that I noticed these Snake's heads were open. I can get a Robin any day.
