At the bottom of the garden

... is a fence, beyond which is a field, which was being ploughed for the second time today, this time breaking up the lumps of clay from the first ploughing. I did a very little gardening today, cutting off long shoots of bramble, many of which had hit the ground and were taking root. Tip of the iceberg, but it's a start.

Did some of the 1K-piece jigsaw today. You know it's hard when you start with the sky. There are really no easy bits to go at; it's all bitty and very difficult, I'm finding. Suggests I'm right to avoid buying new puzzles this size. It is a nice picture, but I'd enjoy it more if it were half the size.
