Texture

Woke up just before dawn and realised l have a bit of a cold.
Since then been sneezing and my eyes are watering, not a pretty sight.
Feels more like an allergy except l also feel a bit under the weather.
Undeterred Elaine and l crossed the border and went to Boundary In Colne.
I offered to drive because the weather was dire and it meant we were spared standing at bus stops in strong winds and pelting rain.
Drove through two snow showers on the way.
Tried a few things on but were not tempted.
Decided to have a coffee and scone at Moss &Moor on the way home instead of in the store because the quality is so much better and little difference in the price. 
While devouring the scone l noticed the chairs at the next table met the brief of texture for todays Mono Monday, thanks John Edward.
Home now and l am making the cheese and leek orzo risotto which is on one of those recipe cards you can pick up at Waitrose.
Supper sorted.
We watched four Episodes of Ripley last night and hope to watch the rest this evening.
