A little beauty

Cooler today & a bit more blowy but we still have some sunshine :-)

Had our usual wander "up the road" this afternoon .... still rather blowy but much less so than last week!

Lovely to see the butterflies about again .... we saw Large & Small Whites ..... a Green-veined White ..... a Peacock & two Small Tortoiseshell getting frisky :-)

This beautiful female Orange Tip* posed beautifully for me ...... love the pattern on the underside of the wings .... she looked so pretty & delicate :-)

Extra beautiful in Large!

*Only the male has the orange tip to the wings.

Pleased we had decent weather today as this coming week is sounding rather rough & wintry ..... time to batten down the hatches ... again! :-(
