A day out . . .

As we are off to the Kruger National Park (KNP) tomorrow we had to make the trip into town for provisions. 45kms each way.  The extra shows the long road home after shopping - with one of the many roadside stalls selling fruit/veg/chickens/plants or whatever else.  There are many mini "farm" shops along the route.
When checking the animals this afternoon we saw, for the first time since I arrived, two of the four crocodiles that live in the lake - lazily lying at the edge in the last rays of sunlight.  It did get quite bright and warm for a few hours but clouded over again this evening.  The crocs did not blink or move whilst we were there!  I think this one needs a dentist!
