BEACH DAY

Today we had to pack…such a quick visit. We got a message at 10:30 to say our Greek family were already on the beach. We stayed in our apartment for an hour longer enjoying the balcony then…
### we had a lovely time with them. It was great to meet the eldest too, although at nearly 4 he is quite shy.
#The Rev and I braved the sea. It was freezing!!! The Greeks thought we were crazy (although today…Monday they sent photos of them braving it too!).
#We had a late lunch of a typical Greek meal by the sea front.
#we were so full and tired so had a snooze on the grass like a couple of homeless tourists :)))))
On the way to the airport we found a gyros shop and purchased a couple for Chef O (from his Greek mama). The shop owner was delighted that his food was traveling such a distance:))))
Hire car delivered and we got to the airport with loads of time to spare. Plane took off on time.
