Quince flower

Just as Chris and I were going to take Oscar a walk this morning the heavens opened and the rain fell horizontally. It was just a shower and was all over quite quickly. We managed a nice but cold and windy walk. On the way back to her house I spotted this quince tree, it looks lovely against the blue sky. 
I left them to come home just before 1pm and was home for 3.30. I had a really good journey considering the wind and showers. I managed to miss the rain and there weren't too many lorries. it must be a good time to travel. It is a lot colder today.
