Still here!

The Light-bellied Brent geese are winter visitors and usually leave to return to their Arctic breeding grounds in late March and early April. We saw a group of 13 at Ballywalter this morning and then this group of 10 this afternoon as we were walking around the shore. I think they're waiting for the right wind conditions before setting off, many more have already left. 
It's been a day of sunshine and showers - and some of those showers were sleet and hail! It felt like we were going back to the winter!!
