Ouch!

Rang the dentist first thing and they got me in to see my regular dentist this afternoon.  We were meeting up with our friend in Skipton for lunch so that fitted in very well.
As I suspected from our previous discussions the tooth wasn't a candidate for root canal as the nerves appeared to have given up, so out it had to come!  At least it will have time to heal before we go away next month and we can look at further remedial work later in the year.  Great service from the dental practice, all done on the NHS, we are very lucky to have been able to keep our NHS dentist.
