An evening filing.

I’m pleased with my experiment with white vinegar to clean old rusty tools. These needle and riffles files were a bit rusty and gummed up so I tried soaking them in white vinegar for a few days a trick I had seen on the internet. After a wash and a good scrub they are ready to go back to work. I’m sure they won’t be as sharp as they were when new but my students will find them very useful.
