lunch on the beach

Quiet morning planning our trip tomorrow to the Mayan ruins in Tulum, about an 1.5 hour drive away.  We have hired a taxi and driver for the day....i'm getting to old to try and figure out buses etc., so Emilio will pick us up at 9am tomorrow, and take us down to Tulum and the area around there.   He'll stay there and bring us back later in the afternoon!

Onto the beach down the road from us, 2 beds in the shade...my sunburn is still pretty tender....we had lunch and read and i had a lovely dip in the ocean.

We're eating dinner at home most evenings, luckily i don't mind cooking (actually enjoy it!) and with not much else to take care of it's just fine.  Our casa is so comfortable and we're just content to do our own thing.   Eating out every evening is just way to expensive and way too much energy for these county mice:)  definitely getting older :P
