Two for joy

Gill and Sue (aka 55Daisies) went to queue for tickets at Wimbledon today, only they didn't queue much at all but got in pretty easily and settled down to watch a men's doubles quarter finals match. Chatting with Sue and husband Adrian afterwards I was taken with just how much she's become immersed in her photography. I feel I'm just splashing about at the moment.

There are many versions of the this rhyme. This is the Yorkshire version with a slightly unfortunate final line:

One for Sorrow
Two for Joy
Three for a Girl
Four for a Boy
Five for Silver
Six for Gold
Seven for a tale never to be told
Eight you Live
Nine you Die
Ten you eat a bogey pie!

Personally, I always preferred Blue Peter.

Looking forward to BBC doc tonight on war photographer Don McCullin. Saw it. If you missed it try to catch it on iPlayer - outstanding.
