Four Layers

Four layers to the chocolate raspberry cream cake today; but then we did have some very special American visitors.

So good to see our pals again, to catch up, watch the kids play together, share socks, borrow jackets, read stories, play catch and eat some traditional Scottish fayre.

To be honest it felt like we were transported back a few years to when they just lived around the corner and had popped in for tea.

Good friends - can't beat 'em.
