Sand Bath

On the morning game drive we came across this bull elephant having a sand bath. This gets into his crevices and wrinkles thereby cleaning himself of bugs and ticks. It was just unfortunate he did this in the shade but you get the idea.

The temperatures have climbed as it's now midday and I'm back at our tent. That is what they call it. It hosts 2 showers indoor and out, a bath, fridge, sitting area and  air con, terrace with jacuzzi overlooking a wooded hill and vast bed. I'm just loving these few nights of luxury and being pampered.  As it's now going into autumn here we are one couple in 2 but more will be arriving shortly.

We have one more night. 2 more game drives. Blocking my ears to the problems I know are stacking up at home.
