Kew Gardens

Another of my postcards - I spent a lovely morning in Kew Gardens with an old friend.  The Gardens looked wonderful with new leaves and spring flowers. Clockwise from top left - the Japanese Garden where the red azaleas are just beginning to open; Syon Park across the River Thames; a billion daisies in the grass leading down to the Palm House; a sad sight - all the box hedges round the formal parterres at Kew Palace are dead from box blight and box tree caterpillar - if Kew Gardens doesn't know what to do about it, what hope for the rest of us!
