Day out

We have had a great day out. We visited old friend Christine who lives in Crawley which meant motorway driving most of the way. I am a nervous passenger on motorways but we arrived safely and were made very welcome. She cooked us a brilliant lunch which included tagine which was delicious. After lunch she took us to see Worth Abbey, a striking modern place of worship. It was very atmospheric, and absolutely silent. I felt awkward taking a picture, but wanted to save a memory.
