Blelham Tarn

It’s been a long time . . . nearly 5 months since the last tarn walk in my tarnbagging challenge. Just number 17 . . . I expected to be approaching 50 by now.

This one is near Wray Castle. I took a boat ride across to the castle then walked to the tarn and anti-clockwise around it. The first half was mostly on gravel paths but the second section was more interesting on a mix of surfaces (mud included) and had better views. Pleased I did it in that direction.

Had my packed lunch enjoying the views from the castle before the return boat trip.
