A view from St Swithin

St Cyrus

It looked like it was going to be a decent day so we headed south to St Cyrus nature reserve near Montrose. It has  a great beach and on the cliffs there is a colony of peregrine falcons  which we watched playing in the breeze. We then drove to Montrose for coffee before heading north to Johnshaven for lunch ( lobster rolls from the lobster pot cafe on the quay) and then Stonehaven for a coffee. Stony was packed - it's been the first decent day for a while and the last day of the school holidays. A good day out.
