After the storm

The water has drained fairly quickly from Abu Dhabi (we are an island), but is still causing havoc in Dubai. My colleague eventually got home at 6pm today (after 32 hours in the office with only coffee). 

Luckily we parked the cars across the road, bits of our tree came down, and one very large branch of our neighbours came down (above). The authorities were out first thing (bottom pic) tidying up.
