SNR FIRST OFFICER DARREN COOKE

There's no better feeling once you've taken off, then landing safely.
After our 11 hour flight from Ecuador to Madrid, the 1hr .40 leg from Spain to London felt like a snip... this I discovered upon disembarking the aircraft, was due to the co-piloting (or 1st Officer-ing) skills of Darren.
Having been greeted by the captain as we left and taken his picture, I was thrilled be be invited into the cockpit - or is it the flight deck?
Darren was happy to pose for POTD for which I'm very grateful,
not to mention the safe flight home.

BA pilots really do have big hearts.

Their hands though, are not quite as big as wide angle lenses make them appear.
