Imperial

Drumming this morning - a challenging session - followed by a sociable coffee with Liz H and June.

Meanwhile, two parcels were delivered, one that was due today, and the other somewhat earlier than expected. Luckily MrM was in his workshop and accepted the first parcel, and the second was left on the doorstep delivered on time. As I didn't have to wait in for them, I was able to join MrM on a trip into Huddersfield. He purchased some specialist tools before we bought a couple of items from Boots, went to the bank and, finally, called in to The Turntable café for refreshment. The Imperial Arcade has been spruced up recently, with some flower beds and a small seating area. Much more pleasant than it used to be.

Back into Huddersfield in the evening, this time by bus, to the jazz club. An evening of great music from Jon Taylor and his Blues Spectrum.
