Windswept and Deserted

THURSDAY

A cold but dry start to the day. Patches of snow could be seen on the distant mountains. At 09:30 Martin arrived in the Raspberry Van with the Ocado order and, hot on his heels was Dave the roofer who took advantage of the dry, still morning to carry out a repair to the flashing around the chimney.

A trip to Rhyl this afternoon. By 3:00 pm a cold wind had sprung up and the rain showers turned into a more persistent affair.

A cold and miserable end to the day. The heating is on, dinner is cooked and I'm looking forward to watching the final of The Apprentice in a couple of hours time.
