Heron

I was awake early so got up and went down to check on the gull colony. The Heron was fishing on the pier before the creel boat arrived with it's catch. I thought it looked good in the early light.
Another shot of it in extras and then also an extra of the Common gull colony. It was good to see about 90 Common gulls on the ground. They have appeared again although they still looked unsettled. Hope they settle again to breed.
A work meeting for an hour and then a lovely walk in the rain with friends and a long lunch at Lucy's. A good day.
