After checking the weather forecast we decided that a stroll at the RHS this morning would have a greater chance of dry weather than this afternoon. We timed it to perfection as it started raining as we were getting back into the car to head home for lunch.

Then a visit to J at the hospital this afternoon. They’re happy with his progress and have switched from intravenous to oral antibiotics. Assuming all progress continues he’ll probably be discharged back to the nursing home tomorrow.
