At work today, and then some gardening afterwards. It looked so lovely outside but was pretty chilly, with a northerly breeze. The forecast is for below zero temps overnight...

This beautiful marsh Marigold (Kingcup) is growing in what used to be, when we moved here, a small ornamental pond with koi carp. The carp all died during one very cold winter when the pond was frozen over for weeks on end, and we never restocked it. One of the dogs bit a hole in the plastic liner, but it's still a damp place. Perfect for these plants.
