Say “hello” to a male myrtle warbler, also known as eastern yellow-rumped warbler, or even better, butterbutt :)) • I was upstairs practicing the uke when MrsP demanded I come downstairs “right now”…I grumbled a bit but then relented after she revealed it was for a bird • It’s a first for MrsP and I’ve only seen a few over the years, always in the spring, and never after a sighting or two. We hope he returns soon • Baking in the oven are some decadent banana muffins filled with cinnamon, walnuts and dark chocolate chips, sweetened with local maple syrup…can you see me drooling? • They’re oversized too, just like my butt will be when I gobble some up • YaY for the butterbutts!! • Peace & Love
