Gray Catbird

One of our summer residents showed up this morning. I love catbirds. This one landed on our front porch to start with and then moved to the maple tree to partake of some bird food offerings. They are called catbird because they do sound like a cat mewing.

I also saw the first hummingbird of the season in the middle of the morning. The Husband saw one a couple of days ago, but the one today was my first.
