Drama!

Up earlier than I’d have anticipated after the late night. Had a fabulous video call with The Boy who turns 21 today. MrRoly headed off to get Princess to work and I dragged Smallest along to Lanhydrock to put up tents for our C2C walkers.

Met with friends there and got the tents up in beautiful sunshine. Then accidentally volunteered to run a checkpoint for the Beaver Challenge. Our checkpoint was in the perfect spot to hear the fire alarm go off and watch the whole house/cafe etc be evacuated and then the fire engine turn up.

Presumably a false alarm but it did cause great excitement to the Beavers walking past!

Back home to drop Smallest at a friend’s birthday while MrRoly prepped toad in the hole. Early nights all round I think!
