Holes in the Walls

I happened once on a bank door standing open as I was walking past it out of a lift one night when I was working late (finance industry).

Imagine me thus today. I heard metal clattering as if something was dropped on pavement and I double took and looked again. I could see through where there were previously windows. Same on the back view where a row of small once-windows were opened to the sky and on the far side.
