Montana

Finally our Clematis Montana has burst into flower. This image, the only flower. that I could photograph. Two days in the making, only made possible thanks to Rebecca for her assistance. The purple back drop being a pice of silk to cover shed window. For pushing me onto hilly lawn to reach pergola on which Clematis climbs. To position tripod.
I had to wait until the sun dipped behind the shed before I could take image, to protect the highlights.
