Ski Mountaineering in Norway …

… is normally a tough walk from sea level to the summit but in great conditions. Hmm, today was freezing, air temperatures of about -5 degrees but the wind chill factor was huge, and there were large icy patches to negotiate. We were all wearing everything we had in our rucksacks. The views from the summit and on the ski down from our summit, Perstinden at 917m, were stunning though. A few in extras. We were exhausted from the wind when got back to Fab Lab and have just been grazing in the dining room so now feel fairly normal and warm again! Early night about to happen!

Thank so much for all your lovely comments and presents for yesterday’s photo as we arrived in the Lyngen Alps. Sorry I can’t respond just now.
