Nesting Coos

A fairly calm day, but misty and light drizzle showers, mostly in the afternoon.  Mist is trying to lift this evening, no luck.

Up early, got out walkies quickly with Sammy, fearing rain might not be far away.  Me, peerie Brian and Julie headed to the Sunday Teas at South Nesting, then a hock at the Nesting Scrap Store.  More walkies before tea.  A fairly lazy evening at home, last walkies then early to bed, praying the mist lifts before tomorrow!

A lovely spread of homebakes at the Teas, stalls with various things for sale, and it was busy.  Sadly the day had deteriorated while we were in the hall, no walks to burn off the added calories.  We did stop off to see some Highland coos (cows).  They are big beasts, and with a wet winter, the ground has been trampled by them, making it very soft and muddy.  We will need a long dry summer to dry out the ground for them.  Taken near Stendaal, with the Scrap Store in the distance, South Nesting.
