Unfurling

Ferns are beautiful.

At the furthest point in the dog walk, the dog jumped into some water and then came out limping, holding her paw in the air and looking sad. For a moment I thought I was going to have to carry a wet dog a couple of miles home, but after I’d inspected her paw she made a miraculous recovery. I assume she just got something stuck in it that I managed to dislodge.
