All Done

Large areas of hops are grown near where I live and the harvest has just finished. We had another beautiful autumn day spoilt somewhat by a very noisy topdressing plane spreading fertiliser on several hilly farms. Dust wafted down the valley and made the mountains look hazy.
When one of my nieces was very young, 3 or4, she referred to hops as jumps and they have been called jumps in our family ever since!
