Happy birthday to Shakespeare

I spent yesterday in Stratford upon Avon , first meeting a friend for coffee, then another joined us for lunch. After lunch we went down to the river but it was raining and cold so we headed into the RSC for coffee. After saying goodbye I wandered around the shops until meeting for a pre theatre dinner .
Then we saw Love’s Labours’ Lost. The reviews called it flirty and frothy. Luke Thompson from Bridgerton took his kit off. It was fun and unusual because unlike most Shakespearean romantic comedies there are no neat ends tied up or happy endings.
