This isn’t where I’d planned to go today but by this morning I’d talked myself out of that.

Knowing how important it was for me to get out I had a quick think and decided on a drive around to Ullswater.

Made a flask of coffee and took a piece of flapjack. Enough for a wander around the falls, a short distance along the Ullswater Way and down to the lake.

One of those days when the light was good composing a photo but suddenly deteriorated before I pressed the shutter button.
