Gent Altarpiece

This is the main reason we travelled to Gent. Absolutely stunning art work and clever augmented reality presentation before we got into to see the altarpiece. Delighted I finally got to see it.

In the afternoon went to the fine art museum- highlight for me was a room full of Bruegel and his followers painting. Bawdy sixteenth peasant feasts - you can’t beat it.

Evening meal at a great Italian restaurant near the hotel.
