Buffalo Alley

We did the trek north to Punda Maria.

K had said she would like to stay under canvas but had our slightly smarter accommodation in Dolomites, Etosha in mind. Our safari tents have everything we need though, even if they are not quite as fancy.

Arnie elected to skip our evening drive, which as pity as we came across large herds of elephant and buffalo, and a couple of giraffes (see extras), but hopefully they will still be around tomorrow.

We kind of under estimated the loop road we were on but made it to camp a few minutes later than curfew but thankfully didn’t get fined for our tardiness.

Arnie had lit the fire so K was treated to a braai supper, with bubbles to celebrate her birthday in the bush.

It’s been a great day!
