Eglantine Jebb yarn bombing

This morning I went to belly dancing in Ellesmere.

This afternoon there was a visit from Princess Anne, Patron of the Save the Children charity who visited the sculptures in the Cremorne Gardens and unveiled a plaque.

The charity was started by Eglantine Jebb and her sister Dorothy Buxton at the end of WW1. Eglantine was born in Ellesmere so there are sculptures there to commemorate the charity.

This clever post box topper was made to mark the occasion.

I didn’t go to see her, I went to Pilates instead.
