Lions Gate Bridge

Vancouver’s iconic Lions Gate Bridge connects the city centre with the North Shore, spanning Vancouver Harbour.

Originally privately built by the Guinness brewing family to access their real estate holdings on the north shore (seen behind the light pole on the bridge base in the right photo), it has only three lanes, and is inadequate for the current volume of traffic.

But it still looks good.
